Having been a Realtor for several years and a Real Estate wholesaler for several more, I have a fondness for Real Estate to say the least. Real Estate Brokers face the same financial challenges small business owners face. You both have two families to look out for, your personal family and your firm family. You are very busy running the day to day activities of your firm and chances are you don’t have a lot of time to figure out your best investment options. If you are a Broker and/or Investor who has been in the business for several years you are without a doubt a professional, amateurs do not last long in the Real Estate game. You are a specialist like the physician and just as busy and under-served as the small business owner, why? Because the Wall Street mentality adopted by most insurance and investment advisors says it’s not worth their time or energy to work with business that have less than one hundred employees. Groups of 100 or more are not much more work than a small group of four, yet the profits to the advisors are vastly different.
